I've tried most of the recent sub-$200 "lasting grit" paddles—including the Ultre Power 2 (40 hours), P1 (30 hours), Spitfire (10 hours), and Quanta Pro (10 hours—and thus far the V-SOL has been my favorite of the bunch. It's most comparable to the Power 2, but where my Ultre has a harsh, board-like feel, the V-Sol Tour is nicely snappy but with a subtle plush feeling to it. It's a bit cliche at this point, but I feel like it really nails the "controlled power" feel that a lot of people are looking for. It slots right into the low-to-medium range for power and low pop compared to other power paddles; you aren't going to smoke anyone off the court with this, but it's easy to keep balls in, and it has plenty of put-away power. The Evergrit is frankly kind of insane for a $100 paddle—it feels really similar to Hexgrit, but because the V-Sol Tour is a softer paddle, you really get the sensation that it grabs onto the ball. My only real ding against the paddle is the sweetspot is just average, but weight fixes that.

Time will tell if this runs into any durability issues like cracking around the edges or separating edgeguards that I've dealt with from other foam and "lasting grit" paddles, but this far, this is an easy recommend for the 3.0-4.0 crowd. I also think this is more playable out of the box than the original V-Sol Pro, so I'd feel much more comfortable recommending this to people coming from the Prism who aren't sure whether they'll like foam. I got the Flash standard handle and would definitely buy another one.

I bought the Bloom. Sweet Spot is huge, spin is nuts, power is definitely there and even more with weight. Then it passed for Tier 1 grit. It's the first paddle in this price range to do it. And at $99 after code LAFON it's the absolute best value out there.

Long time player, first time writer. I'm a 4.5 player and manage 90-minutes of court time 3-4 days each week. I bought my first Vatic paddle (Flash Carbon 16mm) almost three years ago and have since added the Saga V7 SH, and a V-Sol Pro Flash LH to my collection. I was excited to received my V-Sol Tour Flash LH paddle 10 days ago and have been playing with it since.

I was very happy with my V-Sol Pro but having a grittier, longer lasting surface was exactly the upgrade I was hoping for. To me, the durability of the grit will be as important as the added bite the new Tour brings to my game. There is definitely a bit more power there, when you want to release it, which I did not feel with the Pro. I also feel the Tour offers more control on resets.

Getting the same Flash LH model as my Pro, I expected the setup of my Tour to be similar-ish. After multiple adjustments over the first week of play, I was surprised how much of a difference the new core and surface had on the swing weight and balance point. After a few more tweaks, I am already starting to enjoy the upgraded performance and the potential for more power, control, and of course ... spin.

I highly recommend V-Sol Tour as an excellent upgrade for fellow Vatic Pro players. For anyone 'new' to Vatic Pro, the quality, performance, and value of their paddles in unbeatable! Your search is over - welcome to Vatic Pro!

This Vatic paddle has quickly become my go-to, delivering an exceptional blend of power, precision, and value. It’s an A+ performer—and even more impressive when you consider the price.

What stands out most is its balance. There’s plenty of power when you need it, yet it remains remarkably controlled at the net. My resets feel more composed, my drops more consistent, and the overall touch gives me greater confidence in the softer side of my game.

The surface texture deserves special mention. The grit is substantial enough that nearly everyone who picks it up comments on it. After approximately 50–75 games, I haven’t noticed any decline in texture or spin performance. While that’s still an early assessment of durability, it’s an encouraging start.

Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy playing with this paddle, and I feel it has elevated my game. From beginners developing their touch to 5.0 players seeking a well-rounded paddle, I’d confidently recommend giving it a try.

Vatic has set a high bar for performance at this price. For me, this is the paddle to beat.

I love the grit and the feel of the paddle

So far I like the V-Sol Tour with Evergrit. I was really looking forward to getting it because spin is an important part of my game. I was actually surprised to find that I couldn't notice a significant difference in spin between it and the Pro when playing with an outdoor ball, but I definitely noticed increased dynamics in spin and control when I tried it inside with an indoor ball. So it's now my default indoor paddle and the Pro is still my go-to for outdoor.

Consistent face. Gritty texture

Love the paddle, just switched it as my main instead of the Honolulu J6cr CBE. It has a nice feel with linear power and pop. Felt very crisp and powerful but also very manageable.
