Played with Saga 14mm.
Just added 2gm tapes top, 45° lef and right.
For wife addes 2 more at bottom 45°.
All hype about surfaces, textures, gets are a myths that last a couple of months and are gone with the surface of the paddle!!

What stays is tou play style which gives you the best advantage.
Ever see the first impression of a ball ona new paddle? It's almost 1.75" in diameter.
And that good for any paddle to give you any spin you want.
For me Saga gave just the right return on cost in terms of tory fiber and a weight customized GIGANTIC sweet spot.

Great paddle

So I got my paddle waited a bit to play because of how busy after getting it. After getting used to it took like 5 games but I hit my first ATP I got the ball to curve with spin to hit the shot and now it is actually a possible attack

Great additional to the VP lineup. Surface grips and rips. Able to shape the ball more easily. Too early to discuss durability of the Evergrit but out-of-box, it works as well as a friend's Honolulu.
