I wanted the large but all they had was XL. But I’m glad that I went with XL. I have one of those odd body shapes, where I’m 90% belly and 10% other appendages.
I got black and was afraid that it would melt in the sun, but there was no noticeable heat from the color. The material breathes, so I felt extremely cool in 80 degree weather. The sweat gets wicked right off.
I’m used to playing in my cotton t-shirts, so it’s like wearing a wet shirt after the game. I was surprised to find myself dry.
I ended up buying another one.

First Gen 4 Paddle
Just went past 10 hours of play. Construction/build quality is excellent. Still getting used to the play characteristics. Added 3 grams at 9 and 3 to start. Just added another 3 at 12 for more power during the serve and baseline drives. I'm confident I will be recommending this paddle to others looking to move to a Gen 4 Paddle.

Nice upgrade from Saga
(4.0) Played with a Saga Bloom 16mm for about a year. Several time a week. Paddle finally was getting a little soft and loss of grit. VSol Bloom Pro took a few games to get used to the extra pop, but what a difference in the counters, very controllable but more power when you need it. Added weight to lower sides. Great paddle at any price. Sound is a lot deeper with the foam.

Vatic definitely knows what they're doing with paddles. Super good paddle and in my opinion better than alot of 300+ dollar paddles. Also the customer service is amazing and they exchanged my paddle when there was a weird spot and I chose a shape that didn't suit my play style.
