The Flash paddle is the optimal intersection of Power, Grit, and Control. We have implemented the highest quality TORAY T700 raw Carbon Fiber and engineering to help you perform at the highest level on the pickleball court.

Using TORAY T700 carbon fiber and a unibody construction, we provide a dominant yet sleek paddle while still maintaining a competitive price. Carbon fiber is stronger, more resistant to deformation under stress, and more resistant to fatigue and wear than fiberglass or graphite. Even through rigorous play, your Vatic Pro paddle will maintain its integrity, grit, and strength.

Please note: we work to accommodate all custom weight requests. However, due to increased demand and limited inventory, exact weights are not guaranteed.

For international customers: please note that shipping costs do not include any additional taxes/duties that may be required. See our Shipping & Returns page for more info.

Vatic Pro Flash 16mm, getting better every time

I recently received my 3rd Flash paddle. Needless to say that I really like this paddle very much. I ordered my first one just over a year ago. After playing with it for roughly 6 months, I ordered my 2nd Flash to have as a spare. I noticed that the grit on my primary paddle has worn down significantly. So, I switched to the new paddle and kept the original for a backup. My wife decided that there was something wrong with her SLK EVO Hybrid (roughly a year old). I gave her my old paddle to try and she liked it. I purchased my 3rd to have for a spare. When comparing the grit on the second and the 3rd paddle, I was pleased to notice that the grit on the 2nd paddle has held up much better than on the 1st paddle. I think that the new paddle will be able to stay in the bag for awhile since paddle #2 still has a lot of life left in it. I was pleased the find that the paddles seem to be getting better rather than worse like most companies would do. Great Job Vatic Team!!!

Great option for Prism-Flash lovers who need a touch more power

Get $10 off with code: SETH

While I still believe the Vatic Prism-Flash (the slightly lower-powered, non-thermoformed version of this paddle with a "softer" feel) is the better choice for 90% of advanced beginner/early intermediate players, this is still a great option for those who need more power in their game. The trade off vs. the Prism is some slight loss in control, but if you have good touch and feel that is completely negligible—and the extra power is a must.

I'd recommend this paddle for 3.25+ rated players. I tend to default to the Prism (purple) when I'm playing with groups of varied skilled level and am not trying to blow anyone off the court, and use the standard Flash (orange) when I'm playing at my skill level and want more power on my drives and overheads.

Great price-to-value and price-to-performance ratio, as with all Vatic products.

If you appreciated this review, feel free to use my code SETH at checkout for $10 off any paddle.

Bang for your buck

I own multiple thermoformed paddles and this paddle is by far the king of value. Don’t bother spending over $180 on other brand’s paddles. This is the only paddle you need to unlock your potential

Still lacks power

I now own both the prism and the vatic flash. The prism has no power and the flash is better but still not enough for me. This is my personal opinion for my style of play. I need a little more power but still have control. The windy days are really tough with either paddle so i resort to my Engage paddle.
