Better than I could have hoped for

Had been playing with the Prism Flash 16mm and although I loved the control, I was just feeling outgunned by a lot of the people I was playing (I'm a 4.38 DUPR). The Saga V7 short handle gave me the pace from the baseline and on the serve I so desperately needed-I'm now the one overpowering people-the pop on the volleys is sufficient without being difficult to control. It is a reset machine and dinks feel effortless-If you like a head heavy paddle, or already play the Prism line, it is the paddle for you and a very natural upgrade-I'd pay $300 for this paddle.

Great Paddle

Vatic Pro has done it again. This paddle offers great power for drives and the soft touch needed around the kitchen. Great upgrade from the V7 pro.

Best Paddle

Best paddle. Soft when resetting. Power when putting away.

Overall great value

I have been playing with the Saga V7 SH for a week now, played with the original V7 a year ago for a few months, most recently been playing with the ALW-C 14.3mm, gotta say I love this paddles feel off the face, you can generate really good power with full swings, but has enough control around the kitchen to not pop up dinks or resets, as well as this the handle is a really nice shape and firm, overall for the price and the quality I’d say 5*!

Great value

I have played with the paddle for about 10 hours now, here's what I think:
The paddle have all the same quality as the VP Prism V7. The changes to the paddle (Core honey cone size + surface layer combo) made the paddle surface feel flexable. This seems to give the paddle more power and spin. I think this will be more evident as I play more with the paddle.
Couple of negative points:
1) I can already see damage to the surface of the paddle. Perhaps I hit too hard.
2) The paddle feel a little loose. I assume this is due to the fact that it's not thermoformed.
