Our PRISM series is a holistically designed, reimagined paddle that is the benchmark for an affordable carbon fiber pickleball paddle. We have implemented the highest quality TORAY T700 raw Carbon Fiber and engineering to help you perform at the highest level on the pickleball court.

Foam edge walls and a unibody design make it easy to reset, place your shots, and finish points while ensuring durability and a nimble feel. Paddles have polyurethane inserts to reduce shock and give players more feel. The PRISM series is ideal if you think thermoformed paddles are too powerful but traditional Gen-1 paddles are too soft.

Please note: we work to accommodate all custom weight requests. However, due to increased demand and limited inventory, exact weights are not guaranteed.

For international customers: please note that shipping costs do not include any additional taxes/duties that may be required. See our Shipping & Returns page for more info.

Great paddle for the price

Great control and power. I didn't expect this control paddle to have so much power. Best in the game for the price.

The perfect paddle for "fast-developing beginner" 2.5 to 4.0 players

As someone who's technically a pickleball "beginner" (3.5 level) but has a lot of experience in other paddle sports (some tennis, primarily racquetball), this is the ideal paddle for me for several reasons:

Price: Paying more than $100 for a piece of equipment that will inherently degrade quickly (and has no replaceable parts like a stringed racket) feels morally wrong. Every paddle is going to wear out fast. Vatic's focus on a high value-to-cost ratio feels pro-consumer in away other pickleball brands aren't. Being able to buy 2-3 of these for the price of 1 premium paddle from other major brands is extremely attractive.

Performance: Walk down the aisle of a Walmart or Target a feel all low-tech paddles being offered for $60-$80 that are slick as a block of ice with 5 year old technology. It's depressing what's being sold to the masses.

Advancing beginners should be defaulting to the Vatic Prism line—while this is by no means "powerful," it is powerful in the context of what beginners actually need. It feels impossible to pop-up counters and and dinks with this, and any put-away power you give up is put-away power you would never be able to access anyway as a beginner with some cheap 12mm graphite plank...because you would be sailing everything out of bounds.

Grit: I appreciate Vatic's honesty about the fact that the surface texture is compressed into epoxy via peel ply. A lot of marketing material from other brands seems to subtlety lead consumers to believe that the weave of the carbon fiber or Kevlar strands or whatever are actually creating friction surface that touches the ball—which sounds cool, but is not true, and that feels borderline unethical to me (lying by omission of detail).

TL;DR This isn't just a good paddle for the price. It's a great paddle, period. It's firmly a control paddle, somewhat muted by design, but that makes it ideal for advancing beginner players and early intermediates who are still learning what they want—and don't know what they need from the paddle.

Also a note on the hybrid shape, which I love: Having played with standard/widebody paddles for other brands in the same price-to-value class as Vatic, I appreciate the extra length for whip on serves and drives while not giving up too much hand speed at the net like I would with a fully elongated paddle.

Great Paddle for the price

It plays like a high-end carbon fiber control paddle. It being half the price of one makes it worth the investment
