Prism V7 is a great power paddle with good touch control

I played a lot of tennis as a teenager and after a twenty five year break just picked up pickleball; I love the game and this paddle. The V7 works very well for my game which is mostly baseline and mid court, while retaining great touch at the net. Because of its power, I can hit passing shots as well as go cross court and save volleys with looping slices easily. The rough carbon face texture doesn't interfere with its power but allows every possible slice be it inside out, outside in, hard cut or soft drop. I love this paddle.

Bang for Your Buck

I started to get serious about pickleball in the summer of 2024. I have used several paddles in that time in an effort to find the one that is right for me. A gentleman at my local YMCA uses the Prism Flash and he has good results with it. He told me that he really likes the control that it gives him.

So, I hopped on the Vatic Pro website to see what options were available to me. The Augie Ge signature paddle really caught my eye with its nice vista on the face of the paddle. I decided to go ahead and give it a chance to see if, perhaps, this is the paddle for me.

Well, my first week with it has been great. It's hard to believe that the paddle only costs $99. It has a vastly superior feel to all of my previous paddles [which have ranged in quality]. I definitely prefer control to power at this stage of my pickleball "career". Power is nice and all, but the ability to control the ball should be the top priority of any player. Location is king. The Augie Ge Prism V7 helps me put the ball exactly where I intend to place it.

It's really hard to describe feel with words. The Prism V7 just felt "right" as soon as I hit it. You feel it in your hand when you make that first clean hit. The ball is buttery smooth off the sweet spot. It feels similar to a solid hit in baseball or golf; you just know when you have hit a good shot from the feel of it. It's a feeling that I haven't really experienced with my other paddles.

The Augie Ge Prism V7 [and the other models] have to be the best value out there right now. You're getting a premium-level paddle for a fraction of the cost of the competitors' paddles. I'm not besmirching the other companies, but value goes a long way when money is tight.

If you're looking for a great paddle, but you don't want to break the bank; look no further than the Augie Ge Prism V7. It comes with a nice paddle cover, too. That might not seem huge, but it's a cool little perk that most companies do not give you.

This paddle rocks, folks.

Super gritty surface provides ultimate control and spin, coupled with a nice handle configuration and the design is beautiful.
Repping my favorite PPA pro rounds it out...
Best value in the market, hands down!!!
