This paddle takes everything good about the Prism series and builds on it. It has a larger sweet spot and a bit more pop on counters and overheads but with the same plush feel for resets and dinking. VaticPro really nailed it with this paddle. I have played with both the v7 SH and the Flash SH and find that the v7 has a bit larger of a sweet spot! It does hit comparable to the paddletek bantam series but it has less pop, more control and a better sweet spot. With tungsten tape you can easily increase the power a bit. An amazing paddle and for the price I think it's the best option under $150.

Was expecting something different but it feels very much like a step up from a prism. I currently use a a flash 14mm and find it has more pop. The Saga is more of a control paddle with a little more speed on drives but definitely not something to use in hands battles. Not a bad paddle but leaves me wanting more.

Perfect balance

I’ve got about 15hrs on the paddle and really enjoying the spin Vatic is known for along with controllable resets and power form the baseline. It’s slightly less than power than the top tier TKO-C or Gearbox but I prefer to take full rips and I can actually the ball in the court with this thing. Haven’t been able to determine the “pop”from counters yet, I’m quite happy, reviewers think it’s got lower pop compared to other power paddles but that has not been my experience with it thus far. I’m coming from ALW and initial impressions are that the Saga flash is equal with counters. I’ll be able to better determine once I play more high level games. Loving it so far!

Vatic Pro always delivers. This paddle is very unique in the profile it gives. From the baseline, power is there and easily accessible BUT at the kitchen line there is no control to be sacrificed. Lots of touch and finesse in the slow game. Vatic released a one of a kind paddle with this one. Don’t sleep on it!

Better prism flash

It hits harder than the prism flash, but it has the same amount of control.
