I got a Saga Flash 16mm after playing with a Prism V7 16mm for a bit and loving it but wanted a bit more power. Been using the Saga for a few weeks now and when I hit it side by side with my prism v7 the ball definitely comes off the face with more pace when I hit hard. Can still reset and dink with a similar muted feel to the prism when hitting soft. Best of both worlds imo.
Good pop, fast at the kitchen line. Can drive with topspin well, roll at the line and holds up well at the line for hand battles. Kine cane in at 7.8 oz, I like the feel of it vs the vatic flash 16mm I had. Good paddle and great price.
I come from playing with the volair mach 2. very similar paddle. I like the Vatic cause it provides more power and spin. While the volair is a little more plush, the vatic is a tad bit longer, and generates more power on the serve.
Really like this Prism Flash Paddle -- It has a great feel and I feel like my shots are more solid, easier to apply some top spin, etc. Really like it -- would recommend it to all my friends!
Being a control player I’ve played with a loved the Vatic Prism Flash 16 MM paddle for just over a year. However, I did feel I was ready for more power so I purchased the 14MM Pro Flash paddle. After two months of play I feel I now have the best of both worlds. Touch with more pace. For the price I don’t think you can find a better paddle than Vatic and I give the Vatic Pro Flash 14MM paddle 5 stars!
If you are a fan of a dense feeling paddle with control and dwell time that helps you place the ball where you want it and also provides power with shots that have swing then look no further. All court leaning power, for beginner to intermediate players that might not be comfortable with an all out power paddle.
I played once with the paddle. It feels great in my hand. It is a nice paddle for the price! So far, I would recommend the paddle to family and friends!!
