The technology used in this paddle reduces the construction cost and yet have similar higher cost paddle properties. If you are looking for a reasonable price paddle, this can be it.

If you like Prism, you'll LOVE Saga

I have played with both Saga shapes and am very impressed! I prefer the Flash since I primarily play doubles and it's a bit more maneuverable, but I'm definitely able to get a touch more power with the V7. Both my Flash and V7 came in at 8.2 ounces.

Regardless the shape, the Saga definitely plays like a "deluxe" version of the Prism: Plenty of soft, plush control on lower-powered returns near the net (because of the ball being able to "sink" into the first carbon fiber layer on the face), but with a firm backstop (the new stiffer composite layer in the middle of the face) that allows for significantly more power on full swings.

Even though this is Gen 1.5 construction, I prefer this mix of power with softness to any thermoformed Gen 2 paddles I've played with. The surface grit on this is great as well! Go forth and conquer the courts.

This paddle takes everything good about the Prism series and builds on it. It has a larger sweet spot and a bit more pop on counters and overheads but with the same plush feel for resets and dinking. VaticPro really nailed it with this paddle. I have played with both the v7 SH and the Flash SH and find that the v7 has a bit larger of a sweet spot! It does hit comparable to the paddletek bantam series but it has less pop, more control and a better sweet spot. With tungsten tape you can easily increase the power a bit. An amazing paddle and for the price I think it's the best option under $150.

Was expecting something different but it feels very much like a step up from a prism. I currently use a a flash 14mm and find it has more pop. The Saga is more of a control paddle with a little more speed on drives but definitely not something to use in hands battles. Not a bad paddle but leaves me wanting more.
